Holy smokes --- I missed a few days...

It happened, I got lazy! Well we spent the week checking out the "Treasure Coast". That is the coast between Vero Beach at the north and Stuart at the south. We saw a pair of dolphins arching gracefully together while at the water's edge of the Intercoastal waterway enjoying a jazz concert. We took in a nice dinner at Applebee's for my birthday. Spent some time on beaches at Vero, Jensen Beach and of course our own here. And we played games in the evenings. Cards and dice. All in all, a very nice visit and now the "old folks" have gone back home to the cold. Speaking of cold....it's VERY cold here today! It's almost 1 pm and only 49 degrees. And windy. However the sun is shining and we will get out for that beach walk yet. I want to go down at low tide, which is around 3 pm today. I've found that's the best time to get good shells!
